Simple Present Tense

GRAMMAR. The simple present tense: spelling rules with he, she, it

Add -s to most verbs with he, she and it.

        gets                  makes                 shaves           combs               plays

Add -es verbs that end in -s, -sh, -ch, or -x.

brushes               watches

But remember:     do -- does         go -- goes           have -- has          study -- studies
